And here’s how it will work:
The Zipper Bag Swap is open for sign ups until June 10th, 2017 Once signed up you will be sent a quick questionnaire to help us pair you with the perfect sewing buddy. Then it’s time for us to get to work partnering you with the perfect sewing buddy. After the swap, each participant is invited to share what they have received/exchanged on our community page for all to enjoy.
Need Inspiration? Be sure to check out our list of free zipper bag patterns here.
While waiting for your swap partners information, you can start to gather your materials and select a zipper bag pattern to make for your partner. Swap partner information will be emailed June 18th, 2017. It is encouraged that you reach out to your partner after receiving their information to find out more “fun facts” about them.
Since it is summer and zippers scare some, we are scheduling additional time for this SWAP and all packages must be posted by July 10th, 2017.
If you have never joined a SWAP before here is a great article on SWAP Etiquette and how they work. In the meantime, remember our Scrappy Girls Club Group page is always open. Feel free to stop by anytime to chat with other members and share how you are using your scraps! You can share any time during the day, we are always open.
Remember to take pride in your work by trimming off any loose threads. Also, please think about how the person receiving this special package will feel when opening. Including a small treat, sewing notion or scrap bundle is totally encouraged and will be much appreciated by your partner!
